Proxy FAQ
RoxyBrowser itself does not have any restrictions on proxies. If you encounter a proxy detection failure, first check whether the proxy information is filled in correctly and whether the proxy is available.
Proxy detection failed
reason:
- The proxy information was filled out incorrectly.
- The local network firewall is blocking the proxy connection.
- The proxy server itself is not working.
Solution:
RoxyBrowser imposes no inherent restrictions on proxy networks. Use these methods to verify your device's connectivity: 1.Verify Proxy Information:Confirm host, port, username, and password exactly match your proxy provider's specifications
2.Disable Firewall:Check your local network settings or try other IP detection channel.
3.Contact Proxy Provider:Confirm whether the proxy IP is currently active and working.
Slow access to the website after configuring the proxy
reason:
- The proxy server's physical location is too distant, causing excessive network routing hops.
- The proxy server has insufficient bandwidth resources or is overloaded.
- Local network bandwidth limitations.
- The proxy itself restricts access to certain websites.
Solution:
- Check your local network to confirm proper connectivity.
- Switch to a proxy node with lower latency.
- Contact your proxy provider to verify website restrictions.
